Numerical data or statistics should always be presented in a bar chart, pie chart, or graph. Jurors will appreciate and grasp the statistical information better in this format rather than raw data. One influential way to use numerical data, if your evidence lends itself to it, is a comparison. For instance, if the normal fee for something is $XX and the facts of your case are that someone received $XXX, then show it with a graph. In the sample below, you see the normal broker's fee in green and you see what someone else was actually paid in red. The amount to be paid in the future can be an overlay that accentuates a shocking sum when flipped over the drawing.
